We are seeking an experienced Web Developer Lead with 7+ years of experience to lead development teams, drive technical innovation, and architect high-quality web applications using modern technologies.

About the Role

As a Web Developer Lead, you'll take on a pivotal leadership role in our engineering team, combining technical expertise with people management skills. You'll lead development teams, architect complex solutions, and drive technical innovation while ensuring high-quality, scalable web applications.

What You'll Do

Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and career development
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Design and develop scalable, high-performance web applications using modern full stack technologies
Architect solutions for complex technical challenges and ensure system scalability and security
Establish and maintain development best practices, coding standards, and quality processes
Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their potential adoption
Drive continuous improvement in development processes and team productivity

Required Expertise

6-8 years of full stack development experience with proven leadership capabilities
Expert-level proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
Strong backend development skills in Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java
Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, API design and implementation
Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills

Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
7+ years of proven experience in web development with a lead role
Strong leadership and team management experience
Experience leading complex technical projects and teams

Technical Skills

Proven expertise with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
Strong proficiency in server-side technologies: Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java
Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation
Solid understanding of software development methodologies, best practices, and design patterns
Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
