Design Application Process

We're excited that you're interested in joining our design team! Our application process is designed to understand your design thinking, process, and how you approach solving user problems.

What We're Looking For

• User-Centered Thinking: How do you approach understanding user needs?
• Design Process: Can you walk us through your design methodology?
• Collaboration: How do you work with cross-functional teams?
• Problem Solving: How do you tackle complex design challenges?
• Portfolio Quality: Does your work demonstrate strong visual and interaction design skills?

Portfolio Guidelines

Your portfolio should include:

• Case Studies: 2-3 detailed case studies showing your process from problem to solution
• Process Documentation: Sketches, wireframes, user research, and iteration examples
• Final Designs: High-fidelity mockups and prototypes
• Impact: Metrics or feedback showing the success of your designs
• Variety: Different types of projects (web, mobile, etc.)

Interview Process

1. Portfolio Review: We'll review your application and portfolio
2. Design Challenge: A take-home design exercise (2-3 hours)
3. Portfolio Presentation: Present your work and design process
4. Team Fit: Meet with design team members
5. Final Interview: Discussion with design leadership
